SKIING IN SCOTLAND

Are you working in the UK?  Are you considering a working holiday? Perhaps you might apply for a YMS visa(Youth Mobility Scheme visa), an Ancestry Visa or maybe you have moved to the UK permanently to be with your partner or spouse in the UK.   If you are thinking about it, or if you are already there, consider what you might do in your downtime.  Life shouldn’t be all work and no play.

Now we are moving into Autumn, and inevitably to winter and some exciting winter sports.  There are plenty of indoor ski and snowboard venues all over the UK.  If you are looking for something different, Ski Centres often have summer options, camping, glamping, walks, amazing bike trails or start your trip with climbing your first Munro.

If you are keen for some real snow, Scotland is the best for the thrill of the cold air rushing past, as you zoom down the mountain slopes. There are options for every skill set with amazing views.  Or you can watch your friends do the hard work and stick with the apres – ski while you admire the view from a warm, cosy place and a hot chocolate if it is before Noon!  Scotland’s ski centres provide a mixture of Ski and snowboard hire, lessons, on-site schools, lifts and beginner areas, terrain parks and freestyle zones, Cafés and restaurants, free parking and visitor facilities.  Click on the links to find out more about the Ski Centres.
