INCREASE OF THE IMMIGRATION HEALTH SURCHARGE
On 16 January 2024 or later, the immigration health surcharge will increase from £470 per year to £776 per year for children, students, their dependants and youth mobility workers. The charge will increase from £624 per year to a massive £1,035 per year for everyone else. There is now confirmation of these details in the Immigration (Health Charge) (Amendment) Order 2023. The increase will come into force on or shortly after 16th January 2024 assuming the Order is approved by both Houses of Parliament. At this stage, even though the increase is ridiculously high, there is no reason to believe it will not be approved.
Below is a rough guide to show the increase in UK pounds for a couple of our more popular application types.

You will still need to meet the full requirements of whatever visa you intend to apply for, before you make the application.
