CHANGES TO THE YOUTH MOBILITY RULES FOR NEW ZEALANDERS AND AUSTRALIANS ANNOUNCED
The UK Government has announced changes to the UK Youth Mobility Scheme for Australian and New Zealand nationals. Please note the date for both schemes activate at different times. The changes are as follows:
The age range has moved from 18 to 30 to 18 to 35. Applicants already in the UK on the Youth Mobility Visa will be able to extend their two year visas for a third year.
For New Zealanders, this comes into force from the 29 June 2023. Australians will have to wait until 31 January 2024 until the new rules comes into force.
At this stage, there is no specific how to guidance on the GOV.UK, we will fully update our website once the published guidance becomes available.
