CAN I GET A REFUND OF MY IMMIGRATION HEALTH SURCHARGE?

If you work in the Health or Care Industry, you can apply for a refund of your Immigration Health Surcharge even if you did not enter the UK on a Skilled Worker visa.   This is really good news for those who entered using their UK Ancestry Visa or under the Youth Mobility Scheme.   

You won't get the full amount back straight away, you have to apply in six month increments, and prove you were working in this field for the duration of the period.
