What about ‘cookies’?

A ‘cookie’ is a small message given to your web browser by our web server. The browser stores the message in a text file, and the message is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. We make limited use of cookies on our website for the purposes of tailoring our web pages to your needs. We do not match cookies to your registration details and we do not use cookies to track your movements after leaving this website. Most browsers allow you to turn off cookies, and the help menu on your browser should tell you how. However, switching off cookies will restrict your use of our website.

What about Web Beacons?

Restless web pages may contain electronic images known as Web beacons - sometimes called single-pixel gifs - that allow the Restless Group to count users who have visited those pages and to deliver co-branded services. Web beacons are not used to access your personally identifiable information on the Restless network of sites and services; they are a technique we use to compile aggregated statistics about Restless website usage.

Web beacons collect only a limited set of information including a cookie number, time and date of a page view, and a description of the page on which the Web beacon resides.

Online shop

Shopping online is as convenient as it gets, but handing over all your personal details can give you the shivers. Here’s why we need your private information and what we do with it.

When using the Restless online shop, you may choose to supply Restless with ‘personal information’. You might submit this information in order to purchase products online or to subscribe to Restless information and updates.

If you order online, we collect this information so that we can fulfill your order and get your products directly to you. Without this information we would not be able to process your order or contact you if something goes wrong with it.

If you’ve asked to hear more about Restless information and updates we will use your personal information to send you what you’ve asked for.

Rest easy, we will not sell your contact details to marketing companies for spamming, but we may disclose information about you to our business partners who help us provide these services, such as credit card payment processing companies, and other companies in the Restless service provider network.
