After months of planning, weeks of leaving drinks and a day (or two) on a plane, you’ve finally arrived in the UK. So, where to here from here? Most of you will be heading straight into central London from Heathrow airport.

There are a number of ways to get into London, below we’ve listed out your options:
The fastest way to get into central London, taking about 15 minutes. A standard single ticket costs 16.50 GBP, approx $35 AUD.
The cheapest way in to London is by catching the Tube from Heathrow Terminal 1-2-3 into the City on the Piccadilly line, which will take 30-45 minutes and cost about £4-5
If you want to see what UK traffic jams look like take the bus in to London, It will take about an hour and costs about £4

I really like the transport in London, it’s relatively safe, fast and not too expensive. Get yourself an Oyster card, It can be used on bus, Tube, trams, DLR, London Overground and some National Rail services in London.
