Carolyn Gindein was born on a Monday, in Fremantle, WA, on the cusp of Capricorn and Aquarius. This may explain why although she’s practical, hardworking and dependable, she’s also creative, free spirited and spontaneous. Her love of change has inspired her to make career shifts ranging from make-up artist to summer camp USA counsellor and to move to places where she doesn’t know anyone in order to experience a different lifestyle. She returned to Australia in June after a round world trip lasting 12 months and taking in North America, Mexico, Sweden, India, Europe and Thailand and says that although she’s glad to be home for a while to see family and friends, she’s ready to be heading off again to see some more of the world. The past six months have been spent living in Sydney, doing various temp-roles and writing as much about her travels as she can with the goal of a best-seller in mind. She says she may as well aim high! Carolyn’s immediate family, including her adult son, still live in WA so her current plan is to spend a few weeks with them before heading back to the UK where she will base herself in order to travel more frequently before deciding where she may like to settle......for a while.
